Mission: Small Business! We Need Your Help!

Sarah and I have been teasing you all for some time, and we are finally ready to say what’s going on!

Interrobang Studios is competing for one of the twelve Quarter Million Dollar Small Business Grants put out through www.MissionSmallBusiness.com. We’re asking all our fans to click that link, login via their facebook account, and vote for Interrobang Studios.

I've even made a comic all about it. You can read it here.

If this money comes through, we plan to bring in more artists, make more comics, expand and upgrade the website, and put together a business model where webcomic artists working with us get paid.

Hopefully, you like our comics enough to think that more of them would rock. If so, please go towww.MissionSmallBusiness.com, login via your facebook account, type “Interrobang Studios” in the search field, and click “VOTE.”

If you don’t have a facebook account, feel uncomfortable logging in to vote, or just want to do MORE than vote, please reblog Kevin’s comic and spread the word. The minimum qty of votes we need is low—but minimums don’t win cash prizes. Everyone can only vote for any one business one time, but if even half of you click “VOTE,” that would be AMAZING.

And climbing! We would worry if we only got the minimum with a web-based business model. Also, I think there's a certain amount of reassuring you have to do for the banker types who are judging this thing that yes, people DO read comics.

Voted. And my sister also voted (and shared it on FB). So, even though time and again the TriggerStar section will never let me log in and comment while the rest of your site seems to like me, I have voted and would vote again if possible.

As an aspiring comic writer and artist myself, I wish you guys luck and cast my vote in the pile. Any chance you're still looking for people to do whatever it is you do?

Thanks for the vote, Ajenkins! We are still looking--but we've not really opened the gates yet either. I think it's important that whatever we offer people in exchange for all their hard work and efforts be well-thought-out and not likely to suddenly change.

Promise we'll keep everyone posted as we firm up "THE PLAN" (tm). :D
